Dr. Pritam Khalaskar
MBBS, MD (INTERNAL MEDICINE), DM (MEDICAL ONCOLOGY AND HAEMATO-ONCOLOGY) ONCOLOGIST

Dr. Preetam Kalaskar specializes in Oncology and was a gold medalist in DM Oncology from Gujarat University. He has three years of certified teaching experience in Oncology and Hematology also has three years of certified teaching experience in internal medicine and has extensively taken bed side clinics for undergraduate and post graduate students.

He has completed hi SSC from Fatima High School, Ambernath and done his HSC from R K Talreja College, Thane in 2002. Dr. Preetam has completed his MBBS from Government Medical College, Dhule in 2009 and has completed his MD in Internal Medicine from GSVM Govt. Medical College from Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh in 2013 and has completed his DM in Medical Oncology and Haemato-oncology from Gujarat Cancer and Research Institute, B J Medical College, Ahmadabad.

He has written an article on a comparative study of blood stream infections in acute myeloid leukemia according to different phases of treatment. His wasting publication is can we predict the organism? Accepted in South Asian Journal of Cancer. He has also his awaiting publication on Vertebral metasis in Gall Bladder carcinoma: A rare phenomenon. Accepted in GCS journal of cancer.  He has published isolated central nervous system blast crises in chronic myelogenous leukemia with major cytogenic response with imatinib, Oral metronomic cyclophosphamide in heavily treated recurrent epithelial ovarian cancer: An old drug with a new concept. (Poster selected for 12th International Conference of the Asian Clinical Oncology Society). Eltrombopag a safe and cost-effective measure in post Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplant (HSCT) refractory thrombocytopenia.  (Poster selected for 12th International Conference of the
